For more details of this grant program, see our separate post Clubgrants Category 3 Infrastructure Grants.
Infrastructure Grants are made possible by the Clubgrants Category 3 Fund, which reinvest profits from gaming machines into community projects. Over the past two years we have provided 160 community projects with over $25 million in grant funding.
These grants support the infrastructure that underpins participation in our towns and suburbs by providing places for us to come together at sports facilities, playgrounds, parks, community centres, theatres and museums.
These grants also support the infrastructure that our communities rely on when they are experiencing hardship. They fund critical infrastructure for welfare services such as emergency housing, and they help to build resilience in the community with disaster readiness infrastructure.
The Infrastructure Grants process is competitive. Each year the program receives more applications than can be supported.
