What is the Cancer Patient Support Program (CPSP)?

The Cancer Patient Support Program (CPSP) is a new initiative by the Australian Government designed to provide national leadership in emerging priorities across the cancer control continuum. This program aims to ensure that all Australians living with cancer have access to high-quality, culturally safe support throughout their cancer journey. The CPSP focuses on increasing equity across various tumor types and priority population groups.

CPSP level of support

The CPSP offers grant funding ranging between $400,000 and $1,000,000 per eligible organisation. A total of $16.5 million (GST exclusive) is available until the 2026-27 financial year, with funding allocated over three submission periods.
