What is the Revive Live Grant Opportunity (RLGO)?
The Revive Live Grant Opportunity is an Australian Government initiative aimed at revitalising the live music sector in Australia. Announced as part of the Critical Support for the Live Music and Festivals measure in the 2024-25 Budget, this program seeks to enhance the sustainability and resilience of live music venues and festivals, ensuring they remain integral to Australia’s cultural landscape.
RLGO level of support
A total of $7.7 million in grant funding is available, with the program running from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. Funding is divided into two primary streams:
Live Music Venues: Maximum grant amount of $100,000.
Music Festivals:
- Up to 10,000 attendees: Maximum grant amount of $100,000.
- More than 10,000 attendees: Maximum grant amount of $200,000.
- Larger grants up to $250,000 for touring festivals in multiple cities with over 30,000 combined attendees.
