What is the COMPACT Partnership Project Grants?
The COMPACT (Community Partnership Action) Program is a groundbreaking initiative by Multicultural NSW aimed at building social cohesion and community resilience in the face of growing threats of extremism, hate, and division. Established in 2015, COMPACT was inspired by the solidarity shown by the people of New South Wales following the Martin Place siege in Sydney. The program has since grown into a state-wide network of community partners, engaging over 80,000 young people to stand united against divisive forces and promote a harmonious way of life in New South Wales.
CPPG level of support
The COMPACT Program offers significant financial support for eligible projects, with grants ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 (excluding GST) per year, covering a period of two to four years. These funds are available for projects delivered between the 2024-25 and 2027-28 financial years.
