What is the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program
The Aged Care Capital Assistance Program (ACCAP) aims to maintain or increase access to quality aged care services in thin market settings for individuals from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, those living in regional, rural, and remote areas, people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and individuals with other complex and diverse needs, including dementia.
There are two grant opportunities available:
- ACCAP Critical Infrastructure Projects: Up to $195.5 million to address critical immediate infrastructure needs in thin market aged care settings and ensure high-quality services in challenging areas. Learn more here.
- ACCAP Residential-based Aged Care Services and Staff Accommodation: Up to $300 million to improve access to high-quality, culturally appropriate, and safe residential-based aged care services in metropolitan, rural, regional, and remote areas. Learn more here.
