What is the Snow Entrepreneurs – Fellowships For Social Change?
The Snow Foundation is now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for its flagship Snow Entrepreneurs Fellowship 2025 – a transformative opportunity for early-stage social change initiatives across Australia. Designed to empower visionary founders tackling disadvantage in new and bold ways, the program provides significant funding, expert support, and access to a dynamic peer cohort.
This fellowship is grounded in the entrepreneurial legacy of Terry Snow AM and reflects the Foundation’s enduring commitment to backing courageous leaders working on the front lines of social change, especially those addressing issues impacting women and girls, First Nations communities, young people, and LGBTIQ+ people.
Snow Entrepreneurs – Fellowships For Social Change level of support
Successful applicants will receive:
- $100,000 to $200,000 per annum, over two years (with the possibility of a third year of funding).
- Professional wrap-around support, including:
- Diagnostic review of organisational strengths and gaps
- Mentorship and expert advisory services via the Social Impact Hub Professional Impact Network
- Leadership development and pitch training
- Retreats and access to the Antler.co venture capital network
- Peer support cohort and connections to the Snow alumni

The fellowship aims to:
- Provide generous, flexible funding tailored to each organisation’s needs
- Build strong, trusting partnerships
- Accelerate growth through leadership development and organisational strengthening
- Drive significant social impact with the potential for national scale
Projects and expenditure eligible for Snow Entrepreneurs – Fellowships For Social Change support
The Foundation supports initiatives that:
- Address a demonstrated gap in community needs
- Are innovative, tackling entrenched issues with fresh approaches
- Have a realistic growth plan, including some form of self-generated revenue
- Align with key focus areas: Gender, First Nations, Youth and/or LGBTIQ+
Supported Cause Areas:
- Domestic and sexual violence
- Economic empowerment
- Healthy masculinity
- First Nations self-determination and cultural understanding
- Rheumatic heart disease
- Education outcomes (school age)
- Mental health prevention
- Digital or alcohol addiction
- Disability employment and empowerment
- Civil society and democracy
Ineligible Expenditures:
The program does not fund initiatives that:
- Generate impact primarily by donating revenue
- Are focused on:
- Environmental causes
- Animal welfare
- Arts and culture
- Overseas beneficiaries

Organisations eligible for Snow Entrepreneurs – Fellowships For Social Change support
Applicants must:
- Be Founder or CEO of the initiative
- Be operating in Australia (DGR/charity status not required)
- Have been in operation for fewer than 3 years
- Have revenue under $1 million in the past 12 months
- Be addressing disadvantage, directly benefiting at-risk populations
- Show potential for national scale, especially in:
- ACT
- Sydney
- NSW South Coast
- NT (Indigenous-led only)

The selection panel will evaluate:
- Leadership: Visionary, capable, and resilient with a deep understanding of the issue, preferably through lived experience
- Innovation: Approaches entrenched challenges in bold new ways
- Execution: Strong plan, team, and traction
- Collaboration: Willingness to engage with and support the Snow cohort
- Impact Potential: Capacity for national scale and systemic change
How do I get the Snow Entrepreneurs – Fellowships For Social Change?
Applicants must:
- Read and understand the guidelines.
- Ensure eligibility for the funding. Applicants that do not meet all the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
- Deliver the project/s as outlined in the application.
- Provide complete information requirements.
